Gender Equality
Based on the calculation method defined by the French government, Ermitage scored out 98 of a possible 100 points on the gender equality yardstick. Four criteria have been defined with a maximum of 100 points:
- The difference in compensation between men and women (from 0 to 40 points)
- The difference in individual pay rises between men and women (from 0 to 35 points)
- The percentage of women employees receiving pay raises after returning from maternity leave (from 0 to 15 points)

LEAD TEACHER OF IB MYP MEDIA STUDIES AND IB DP FILM STUDIES
Description
As part of our ongoing expansion, Ermitage International School is pleased to invite applications for the position of IB MYP Media Studies and IB DP Film teacher. We are looking for an experienced teacher with proven results who is able to introduce and develop a programme of IBMYP Media Studies leading to DP Film Studies. The ability to teach another IB subject, or lead an after-school activity would be an advantage but is not required. This full-time position starts in August 2023. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner to develop the school’s film and media studies program across all year groups.

- Lead the development of a new media studies and film curriculum.
- Have effective interpersonal skills and ability to form positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
- Introduce, develop and promote a new area of the curriculum at the school.

IT Teacher
Description
Do you want to work in a school that is committed to providing students with the skills they need to succeed in the 21st century?
If so, then we encourage you to apply for the position of Secondary School IT Teacher at Ermitage International IB School, France.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about teaching computer science and technology within the IB programme. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the latest technologies and be able to effectively engage students in a variety of learning activities.
The responsibilities of the role include:
● Developing and delivering lessons that meet the needs of IB MYP/DP students
● Assessing student progress and providing feedback
● Collaborating with other teachers and staff
● Maintaining a positive learning environment through effective interpersonal skills and forming positive, yet professional relationships with students, staff, and parents
● Developing the current MYP IT programme with possibility of extending this to Diploma Programme
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
● 2+ years of experience teaching computer science and technology
● Experience of/ willingness to adapt to IB Programme approaches and curriculum
● Strong understanding of the latest technologies
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The candidate must speak English at a native level. It would be an advantage to hold an EU passport and/or have relevant working papers for employment in France. The ability to teach in an IB MYP/DP context, another IB MYP/DP subject, or lead an after-school activity would also be advantageous.
This full-time position starts in August 2024 with the possibility of an earlier start for the right candidate.
