As a proud member of the Round Square Network, our students get the chance to express their potential beyond the classroom through collaborative opportunities. Each year, in July and December, Round Square runs a 2-week International Service Project (RSIS) bringing together 40–60 students from across the world to work in supportive partnership with local communities.
In July, the RSIS Thailand 2024 project welcomed 44 students from 12 countries, including two Ermitage IB MYP5 students. This project involved the construction of a vocational training centre for the local school, supporting the Tom Yum Project and human wildlife coexistence.
Alongside meeting and interacting with the local community, participants learned sustainable construction techniques, discovered Thai cuisine and developed their leadership skills by taking the lead on different elements of the project.
