Ermitage DP 2 art students opened their IB Visual Art exhibition to the school community to great success on Monday, March 28. Each of our nine students followed a challenging creative journey and their exhibition is the culmination of two years of art practice, theory and curatorial skills. Our students displayed over seventy artworks showing a wide range of themes from identity and social critique to animal extinction and mythological narratives. This impressive exhibition also covered an array of media, and materials from traditional oil painting, ceramics and soft sculpture to video, textile design and printmaking.

We congratulate our bold and brilliant art students who have shown so much resilience and commitment to their creative practice over the past two years. Bravo, Lora, Teea, Karen, Emily, Lou-Ann, Nishaat, Camila, and Yevgeniia who unfortunately could not be present.
